It has been over two years since I first came to Barcelona, which is a scary thought! I think I was more excited to see the boys than they were to see me, scratch that, I KNOW I was more excited to see them than they were to see me. It's probably safe to say that most kids are the similar in that, you'll their undivided love and attention until something new and more exciting comes along. Not because they are bad kids, because...well duh, its something new and more exciting. I am definitely no longer new or exciting. Despite this, I showered them with as many hugs and kisses as they let me and was wowed by their ever growing little brains (they are now able to understand a lot of french and speak a lot as well. Arnau read me a french book one night before bed - just incase you didn't feel dumb enough already, they are 7 years old and French is their fourth language! Eek! On the Sunday after I arrived we went on a family and friends excursion to Montserrat which is a mountain about 40 minutes drive from the house. It was really hot, but definitely just what the doctor ordered after sitting in planes and air ports for over 36 hours! This was also on my Barcelona bucket list after seeing photos online (too bad the photo I really wanted was fenced off! Murphy's law huh). Next post will have less photos of my fluffing around and more of one of the best friends a girl could have, Abbie May. She came to stay with me in Barcelona and I got a bit snap happy with having a model (the feeling wasn't mutual by the end).
Until then friends, Besos x
