I have been in Turkey now for four weeks and it is safe to say that I am still discovering new things all the time. It has definitely been the country to take me the most out of my comfort zone as it so different to home, but also very different to the other countries in Europe that I have visited. So I guess I should start by explaining how I ended up here and what I am doing.

Now that I am nice and settled here in Istanbul I have the time to sit down and finish this blog post. When I left Granada I went to Portugal for a little holiday before I came to Istanbul to Au pair for a month, and although my Portugal adventure didn't necessarily start off on the right foot (I missed my bus from Seville to Faro) I really had an awesome time once I got there!
