Today I write to you from Faro, Portugal. I left my beautiful family in Granada two days ago and am now starting a new adventure. Today I have been to the beach and probably had a little too much sun (I know this because there are parts of me that look more lobster than human), so now I am at my hostel having some down time. I wanted to share some photos of my second to last weekend in Granada, I went to The Alhambra with nearly the whole family, including the Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles! It was a beautiful day and The Alhambra did not disappoint, so without further ado, here are some pictures. |

Hola Amigos! With only 4 weeks left here in Granada I am embarrassed to say that this is my first blog post about my time here. I arrived here at the end of March and things have been non stop ever since. I chose Carlos and Yasmina to be my new host family while I was staying in Ireland, and I have definitely made the right decision. I didn't know what to expect because my first Au Pair family was amazing and I still miss them all the time, but I am happy to say that being here with Carlos, Yasmina, Pablo and Marta has been just as amazing. The week I arrived was Semana Santa (Easter) so for this week I basically did no "work" at all. Also their previous Au Pair Ellora (who is also from New Zealand and has a blog full of great travel photos and food posts which you can find here) was here for 10 days so I had my own personal tour guide and companion to teach me about everything from the bus schedule to the best places to get tapas. |
